In these times of the corona pandemic: Manager training program continues virtually

First training sessions in August

There has recently been clarity: The manager training program "Fit for Partnership with Germany" carried out by GICON® InTraBiD GmbH will be continued virtually this year. This decision was preceded by extensive coordination between the client of the program and the program manager - the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy and the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. For the GICON® InTraBiD team, this means that the training courses and company visits previously planned on site in Germany will now be completely converted into virtual formats with the group. Eight trainers are available for this purpose, all of whom now present the content they would otherwise have presented face-to-face in the seminar room via the internet and group chat.

The program kick-off originally planned in Dresden for a group of Ukrainian and Belarusian managers was halted in March shortly before their arrival in Germany and will be made up for in the coming weeks. Nevertheless, the new format of virtual group visits "to" companies has been well received by the German industry partners and also comes close to the professional focus of the Eastern European managers. This is because almost all of them come from the field of information and communication technology and have an eye on the prospects of Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things (IoT). Industry partners such as the Dresden Smart Systems Hub and the Silicon Saxony industry network therefore declared themselves just as quickly ready for online visits as the Mittweida-based company IMM electronics GmbH and the Dresden Technology Centre. In addition, GICON® InTraBiD and the participants will organize and accompany at least three direct video conferences with potential German business partners over the next eight weeks.
