Mexican managers establish business ties with Germany

From tequila to gray cast iron - a wide variety of industries represented

They are looking for buyers for tequila and castings, want to cooperate with IT and electronics companies and can offer logistics services for German companies in their home country: 18 Mexican managers have come for the month of June to Dresden. They are taking part in the manager training program entitled "Fit for Partnership with Germany" (www.managerprogramm.de), supported by Germany’s Federal Ministry of Economy Affairs and Energy (BMWi) and are being hosted by GICON®-InTraBiD GmbH during their stay. In addition to seminars focusing on quality and innovation, group visits to Saxon enterprises and individual business contacts are high on the agenda of the Latin American guests. GICON biogas expertise has also found its place in the program, as the managers will visit the GICON biogas plant in the Dresden district of Klotzsche. In addition, the IMM group, an electronics service provider from Mittweida, the Baerenhecke bakery and mill and the Dresden-based start-up 3Dit GmbH are among those who have expressed interest in bilateral exchanges with the representatives of the Mexican economy.

As part of the BMWi program, approximately 150 managers and executives from Belarus, India, Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, the Russian Federation and Ukraine have participated in training at GICON®-InTraBiD GmbH since 2014. The program is coordinated by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), acting as general manager on behalf of BMWi, and is implemented throughout Germany at 13 training centers - including GICON®-InTraBiD.
