As part of the manager program entitled "Fit for Partnership with Germany", supported by Germany’s Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy, a group of 20 Russian managers are being hosted by GICON®-InTraBiD GmbH from 14 June to 9 July 2016. The program is coordinated by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ GmbH).
Identifying trends in the use of renewable energy
The aims of the leaders from different regions of Russia are to become acquainted with new technologies and technical building services, to learn about trends in the use of renewable energies, to deepen their knowledge in the field of energy-efficient construction and renovation as well as to purchase equipment.
During their time at GICON®-InTraBiD GmbH in Dresden, several participants are visiting the Intersolar Trade Show in Munich and the CEB- interCOGEN cogeneration conference in Karlsruhe. The visit to the firm YADOS GmbH in Hoyerswerda, a company specializing in local and district heating technology, is dedicated to quality management. The visit to several firms in Dresden and the surrounding area is intended to inform the participants about the use of energy-efficient building materials and equipment. In addition, the managers will address the central question of better insulation of pipes which are designed for heat and energy transfer.
Cross-cultural learning and experiences
During training and workshops, topics such as intercultural management and issues of international project management are handled. The focus of intercultural management is the similarities and differences between Germany and Russia. In their free time, the business leaders have the opportunity to be enthralled by the tourist highlights of Dresden, Meissen or Saxony Switzerland.
