Cooperation with the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology continues

On 19 - 20 January 2017, another group from the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CALT) visited GICON® InTraBiD GmbH. The ten research, development and production engineers had the opportunity to visit the Fraunhofer Application Center for Optical Metrology and Surface Technologies (AZOM), part of the Fraunhofer Institute for Material and Beam Technology (IWS), which opened in November 2016 and is located at the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau.

The participants were very interested in the visit to the Institute for Aerospace at the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering of the Technical University of Dresden, where they learned about new trends in the development of related devices and technologies.

In addition, the visit to the Institute for Fluid Technology at the TU Dresden was extremely interesting. They were able to familiarize themselves with trends in the development and application of high-precision hydraulic pumps and valves.

The wish of the head of the 2015 CALT delegation, Liu Bo, to cooperate with InTraBiD has thus been fulfilled.  In cooperation with Frank Enterprise GmbH in Leipzig, future joint training events are also being considered.
