Georgian managers want to export to Germany

Virtual seminar format now well established at GICON®-InTraBiD GmbH

The export of wine, dried fruit and tourism services to Germany is at the top of the list of goals for 16 Georgian managers who started s virtual manager training program at the beginning of July 2021. The program is sponsored by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). Over the next eight weeks, the participants want to prepare themselves and their companies for business development in the German market with the assistance of the “Fit for Partnership with Germany” program.

Right at the beginning of the training course provided by GICON®-InTraBiD GmbH, aspects of leading and motivating teams were intensively discussed with the personnel management expert Dr. Sandra Wolf (management of small and medium-sized companies) and also with Prof. Detlev Müller, founder and CEO of IMM Electronics GmbH in Mittweida. Until August 20, 2021, the participants will focus on two core topics: establishing initial contacts with German companies and dealing with Germany as an import market or supplier country, utilizing production systems for adhesive tapes as business example.

Training and further virtual visits to companies will provide them with the necessary tools. The program has been conducted completely virtual since the beginning of the Corona pandemic; a format which the participants have come to appreciate, because it allows for the optimal balance between training and development and the daily task at the own company, without any travel stress.
